New 2023 Renault Capture

As we all love upgrading from the old to the new, Renault has also Upgraded their Small Crossover and made sure that the car captures your attention, the Newly Updated Renault Capture. This baby was revealed in 2020 but only made its debut now in 2023. We all recognize Renault because is makes Mercedes Engines and again it's currently the 5th biggest carmaker in South Aaa- in terms of new passenger car sales.

WHAT IS THE RENAULT CAPTURE COMING WITH?

There were so many updates that were made to this new Capture and what excites me is that all these updates are visible meaning you don't have to look for them.

  • Functional air vents situated down low in the corners that create air around the wheels to improve efficiency

DRIVING THE RENAULT CAPTURE

The Engine:  Under the bonnet of the Capture is a 1.3-litre Turbo engine which produces 113Kw of power and 270Nm of torque. It is mated to a 7-speed EDC automatic transmission.

Fuel Consumption: Renault claims that the new Capture will consume only 6.6l/100km. It has a 48L fuel tank, meaning it should be able to travel 727Km per full tank. 

The Capture comes with a MULTI-SENSE system which allows you to choose between three driving modes. These includes the following: 

  • My Sense
  • ECO
  • Sport

The new Renault Capture comes with a 5-year/150 000 km mechanical warranty, a 3-year/45 000 km service plan, as well as a 6-year  anti-corrosion warranty. Service intervals are every 15 000 km or 12 months. whichever comes first. a metallic paint finish costs R2 999 extra.
