We all know that Polo has been the worlds favorite since it was launched in South Africa. So, if you have never owned a Polo, chances are you have been in one; such is the popularity of the model here in SA. Volkswagen has been selling these units for over a decade now. The all-new sixth-generation Polo went on sale in SA as the start of 2022 and initial models are the VW Polo 70kW TSI and Polo GTI. The Polo Life is a front wheel drive and a five-door hatchback.

UPDATED IN WHAT WAY?
There were simple changes that were made to the Volkswagen Polo 70 kW Life and these changes are visible from both the interior and exterior.
The Exterior: The front bumper has a new design that has fog lights on it, IQ.Light - LED matrix headlamps, 16-inch wheels. The rear bumper was refurbished and reflectors were added also. A rear view camera, a panoramic sunroof and key-less entry are also included.
The Interior: From the inside you will also find interesting features such as a multi-functional steering wheel, a Digital cockpit, a touch screen infotainment system, voice control, and a wireless mobile charging.
The Boot Space: The space in the boot is 351L with the seats up and 1125L with the seats folded down.
The Volkswagen Polo offers four grades/trims, the Polo – Life, Style, R-Line and GTI.
DRIVING THE POLO 70 kW LIFE
The engine: The Polo is a front wheel drive 5 door with 5 seats, powered by a 1.0L TURBO 3 engine that has 70 kW of power (at 5000 rpm) and 175 Nm of torque (at 2000 rpm) via a Five-speed Manual.
Fuel Economy: The fuel tank capacity is 40L and the claimed fuel consumption is 5.4L/100Km
